Sanusha, is an Indian film actress. She started her acting career as a child in Malayalam films and went on to appear in television serials.
Early life[edit]
Sanusha was has one younger brother Sanoop Santhosh, who is a child artist, known for his acting in Philips and the Monkey Pen.[1] She hails from Pallikunnu, Kannur District, Kerala, she has studied at Sreepuram School, pallikunnu Kannur.[2] After doing her graduation in B.com[3] in S.N. College, Kannur[4], she did MA sociology at St Theresa's college.[5]
Career[edit]
After performing in TV serials, Sanusha started her film career in 2000 at the age of 5 with the movie Dada Sahib.[6] She became a star in Malayalam films as baby Sanusha giving stellar performances in Meesa Madhavan, Kaazhcha, Mampazhakkalam etc.[7] She twice won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. She debuted as a heroine in Tamil film Naalai Namadhe[8] in a glamorous role followed by demure roles in Renigunta, Nandhi and Eththan.[9] In Malayalam she debuted as heroine opposite Dileep in Mr.Marumakan.[10] In the Malayalam movie, Kuttiyum Kolum Sanusha rode a 500 cc bullet motorcycle and acted against the midget actor Unda Pakru, the role gave her rave reviews.[11] In Tamil film Alex Pandian she did an oomphy item song with Karthi.[12]
Sanusha won a Special Jury Mention at the 2013 Kerala State Film Awards for Zachariayude Garbhinikal.[13]
